* If you're seeking good fuel economy in a green car that doesn't look boring or overly futuristic, the 2015 Ford C-Max Hybrid deserves a good look. Handsome styling, a detailed interior and great driving dynamics leave little downside to this purchase. Source: KBB.com
* The C-MAX Hybrid and C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrid - the all-new family of fuel-efficient, multi-activity vehicles from Ford. Maximized style and real-car performance are now available with a reduced carbon footprint. The first dedicated hybrid vehicle line from Ford in North America, C-MAX is filled with innovative features and intuitive technology designed for living life to the max. C-MAX Hybrid runs on a combination of gas and electric power to deliver up to 40 MPG combined. With its charge port and larger lithium-ion battery, C-MAX Energi lets you plug in and achieve 88 MPGe combined, with an all-electric driving range of 0 to 19 miles. Fuel efficiency and ultra-low emissions are only the beginning. When you step on the accelerator, C-MAX Hybrid and C-MAX Energi both deliver a truly engaging driving experience. The advanced eCVT (electronically controlled continuously variable transmission) smoothly transfers 188 system net horsepower (best-in-class on C-MAX Hybrid) and 129 lb.-ft. of torque to the pavement. The C-MAX includes Curve Control, the latest enhancement to the AdvanceTrac. If you are taking a curve too quickly, Curve Control can help you slow the vehicle by as much as 10 mph in approximately one second. The C-MAX interior delivers the flexibility you expect from a multi-activity vehicle. The passenger volume of 99.7 cu.ft. offers versatile seating for 5 covered in comfortable cloth or trimmed in luxurious leather (C-MAX Hybrid). Heated front seats help ward off a chill on cold mornings. For the driver, there's a 10-way power-adjustable seat. Plus, you'll breathe easy thanks to a standard cabin air filter that helps prevent pollen from entering the vehicle the vents (class-exclusive on both). Source: The Manufacturer Summary

Great Little Car
By Old Guy | on Wednesday, May 31, 2017
The C-Max rides, drives, and handles like a big car. It is extremely quiet and comfortable on long trips. Excels in mountain or interstate driving. I have driven mine on several trips of 2000 miles through mountains and interstates. The hybrid systems work without any noticeable change from gasoline to battery, just an amusing display. Mileage is as high as 64 mpg on short trips around town and up to 55 on highway stretches.… - 5.0
Super economical car, great around town.
By Jay | on Saturday, February 16, 2019
Bought this as our second car primarily for my wife's use around town although we have taken it on trips of over 1000 mile one way with no issues. Wanted a hybrid that could get out of its own way and the 2.0L does not disappoint. No problems in 5.5 years. Averaging 43 mpg since the day we bought it! Plenty of power for merging on freeway at 70 mph. Batteries take over even @ 70 mph. Heated seats are great when temps are in the teens (in Alabama it doesn't get much colder). Other than a CD player head that quit in year four after a 4-day road-trip playing a book series 10 hours a day nonstop, no unexpected expenses. With some weather tech mats it does great coming back from the nursery with shrubs and pine straw or with the rear seat down from the lumber yard. We plan on keeping this for another 5 years.… - 5.0
Wonderful vehicle. Comfortable and reliable.
By Bobbyd | on Saturday, September 07, 2019
I enjoy many things about this car. The higher seating allows more of a panoramic view. The hybrid often gives me 50+ mpg when driving in the 60 mph range. The performance of this hybrid is surprising compared to the much slower Prius. It's very comfortable seating. I'm tall and enjoy never bumping my head getting in and out of my Cmax, which was often a problem in the many sedans I drove. The high interior area allows for placing lawnmowers and other tall objects into the vehicle with the backseats down. I can't think of any negatives. There have never been any safety of manufacturer recalls on this vehicle. I give it 5 stars.…
