I arrived at the dealership stated my problem that I was having with my vehicle clearly and throughly. I am very knowledgeable working with cars. The dealership did not diagnose my problem at all. Instead they was more concerned that I had extended warranty insurance on my vehicle and look for any way to get the insurance company to pay. The dealership installed new pistons rings and vault springs etc pretty much rebuilt top end of the motor but did not solve problem. Still had misfire as I stated when I brought it to the dealer. Dealership tried to convince me that I did not have compression. That’s was a lie. The car was still in same condition I bring it in the compression could have never been a problem. Returned my vehicle back and stated on my receipt that my Cadillac converter was hollowed out. Before I ever took my car to dealer I had my check engine light check and I got Cadillac converter code. I rather let the dealer service it correctly for me so I would know my exact problem but instead I had to pay 2800 dollars on top of what my insurance company paid to receive my car back in the same condition. I seriously and I mean seriously do not recommend this dealership or many other dealerships. Car will not be serviced properly, they will keep it 6 to 7 months at a time and return your car in the same condition. Did i mention I went to this dealership 2 times and each time my car was held 6 months or more and I received it back in same condition. I definitely do not recommend I have found google search and YouTube videos to be way more effective and help me in ways I can’t even imagine and did I mention save me tons and I mean tons of much needed money. I repeat do not go to this dealership

I had ask 2 time when i came to get the oil change I ask them to check the passenger back tire because we have keep putting air in the tire they said both time nothing was wrong with the tire so this time we took it to another place and they did a full service on that tire and found out it was 2 nails In the tire so what if we would of had a blow out now we question do they even do a full service when they do the oil change question do they even do a full service on the oil change this was first time and a long leaving Buttler Chevrolet I feeling un safe for a oil change and air filter and tire rotation paying 200.00 buck and this was ridiculous

My initial experience was ok knowing I would be without a vehicle for awhile and being told a loner car wasn't available from someone without hesitation - (that was heartbreaking). After speaking with Lawrence. Lawrence was able to get me a loner car which showed his dedication to the customer after a vehicle was sold. This truly confirmed my decision of doing business with this company. Brian also assisted in reassuring the car had gas and was ready for me to drive. Overall I am very satisfied with the customer service rep (young man) I was assigned to (I cannot remember his name). Overall I do recommend the service representatives in the back to show a little more empathy to the customers. I watched their interactions on several occasions. As a customer I am expecting the same energy in service as it took in selling me the vehicle .

Nick was extra helpful in arranging for the repairs I needed. Bruce (courtesy vehicle driver) is a gem. There was one significant glitch during this encounter, which I have never seen before. Nick was unable to reach me on my cell phone from the company phone on his counter. If I had not called the service, it would have delayed everything even more. Even so, Day 1 at the service was restricted to the oil change because they could not get my approval in time to do the rest. On Day 2, Nick still could not reach me by phone, even though I entered his company phone number in my contact list. He finally used his personal mobile to reach me (THANK YOU). It's not clear whether this is an issue with Butler's phone system or my mobile service provider.

The service tech that checked us in explained to my wife that the tires would be rotated and they discussed it 3 different times. And when finished the tires were not rotated. In and out time limit was 19 minutes. Which concern's me if a proper job was completed. Not saying that we want to spend several hours for a service, but 19 minutes is rather quick to service the vehicle.

Communication was terrible, my vehicle was there for 8 days. I only got 1 call and that was that the part is covered under the warranty. I was told it would be ready that Monday. Was not notified that it would not be ready on Monday. I called Tuesday evening, it was only one person there, he did look to see if the paperwork was on her desk, but it wasn't. Called back Wednesday and I was told that it was ready but you all was waiting on payment from warranty people. I called Assurant Thursday morning myself and was told that the payment was sent Wednesday Morning. So I called back and told the young lady what Assurant told me, but she said that you all still have not received payment yet. So now I'm thinking somebody is lying to me. It was VERY frustrating to me for 1, being without my truck for 8 days and 2, under the impression that I've been lied too. Eventually I was told that it was sent to the wrong email. There was poor communication, I think the poor communication played an important part and it could have been handled much better. This is my 2nd time being dissatisfied with Butler Chevrolet. Thinking very seriously about having my truck serviced at another Chevrolet dealership. I live in Macon but don't mind the drive if I'm satisfied with the customer service and communication.

My overall experience at the Chevy dealership was good, thanks to Victoria—she was helpful, professional, and made the process smooth. However, my interaction with another staff member left a negative impression. I had selected the drop-off service option because I had another appointment. When I missed a call from the dealership and returned it just 18 minutes later, the man who had checked me out—he was a heavyset gentleman—answered the phone. Unfortunately, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked if my vehicle was ready for pickup, he replied sharply, “Yeah, your car’s been ready,” in a very dismissive tone. I appreciate Victoria’s great service, but the lack of professionalism from that staff member really stood out in contrast.

I called Monday, 12/29/25 and spoke to a man in Service about my 2025 Chevy Tahoe USB port not working ever since I purchased the vehicle. He said that I could bring the vehicle in any day that week to be looked at. I told him I was available Friday, 1/2/26. He said great, bring the vehicle up to the dealership between 7:30am-8:00am and ask for me. He said that I could drop it off and they would call me when they were done looking at the Tahoe. I get to the dealership at 7:45am on 1/2/26 and was greeted by Britney in Service. She said that they didn't have me down on the schedule for that day. I told her I talked to Sam, or at least I thought his name was Sam and the whole conversation we had. She said we don't have anyone by the name of Sam that works here.. We are all booked up for today and our diagnostic team isn't in right now and it would be at least 5 days before I can get you on the schedule...I wonder if you talked to someone in our call center. There was another service agent, Lee, who was sitting next to her and said that they could at least keep the car and look at USB port. I said yes keep my car as long as I can get it back by this afternoon to go pick my kids up from daycare. I asked Lee if he is the one I spoke with on the phone b/c his voice sounded familiar. He then proceeded to tell me that he didn't know if we spoke on the phone b/c he talks to 9,000 people a day. Britney called me around 12:30PM to let me know my vehicle was ready to be picked up and that the USB port was defected. The part was ordered, and they would call me next week when the part came in. I went to pick my vehicle up around 2:30PM and Britney was not around. Lee was there, and no other person was in the waiting room to be seen. Actually, when I walked through the dealership and outside into Service, Lee was the only one out there watching what appeared to be a YouTube video on his computer. I walked up to him and told him I was here to pick my Tahoe up. He went through the paperwork and handed me a copy of my receipt. Then he hands me my key and points outside of Service and says my car is parked out there. I asked and wanted to confirm that they would call me next week when the part came in and schedule me to get my vehicle fixed. Lee said that he wasn't the one that dealt with me, and that whatever Britney told me is what I should go by. Well Britney didn't tell me if they would schedule me to get my vehicle fixed the same week the part came in. Hence, that is why I was asking the question. I walk outside of Service expected my vehicle to be parked right up front. No, I'm having to walk down the car lot aisle searching for my Tahoe that is mixed in with all different cars not knowing where it is located. Having to press the alarm on the key fob to try and locate my Tahoe. This whole experience was very unprofessional from the beginning, and the customer service was terrible. No apology from anyone in the Service Department about me not being put on the schedule when I clearly spoke to someone (who I'm quite certain was Lee) to have my vehicle be looked at Friday morning. I was originally turned away when I got to the Service Department because someone didn't follow through with their job in scheduling me to be seen. Then, I had to go search for my car to leave, as if Lee was too busy to take me to my car.

Let me first say I appreciate Nick and his support. As for the services performed, it was rushed out just before closing for Christmas, but the truck had been in the shop for one week already. Finally, the gas fill repair was not successful as I assume time didn't allow time for the repair to be tested. I will have to assume the repair made was for a genuine faulty vent valve and harness, but again we'll have to find another shop to work on finalizing the repairs.
